Utah’s success depends on thoughtful investments in infrastructure that keep communities connected and preserve our quality of life. The Utah House of Representatives remains focused on building and maintaining roads, expanding multimodal transportation, and strengthening critical infrastructure across the state.
We are taking a long-term approach to transportation, energy, and water infrastructure to ensure every taxpayer dollar is used wisely to support Utah’s long-term infrastructure needs.
Funding Highlights

$5.6 billion for statewide transportation projects
Including major projects like the Mountain View Corridor expansion, the 2100 N Freeway, the West Davis Highway extension, flex lanes on Pioneer Crossing, safety and interchange improvements at US-6 / US-89 in Spanish Fork, I-15 improvements in Santaquin to Payson

$23.8 million for local transportation projects including
$10 million for the St. George Regional Airport terminal expansion $5.3 million for Brigham City rail project $3.5 million for Spanish Fork Airport Taxiway Bravo Construction $2.5 million for Millcreek Canyon Shuttle Program $2 million one-time for Pioneer Trail construction and Foundation $500,000 one-time for Ogden Union Station intermodal entry improvements

$2 million for wildlife crossings construction
Provided UDOT funds to be used for wildlife crossing and connectivity projects

$2.5 million to the Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Grant
Funds new trailheads and amenities that keep access to public lands safe and secure to serve the growing motorized recreation community

$6.2 million for dam maintenance
Provided for upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of dams to ensure the safety of nearby communities and improve water storage
