Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day is a time to remember those who came before us — and to honor their sacrifice, their foresight, and their service, which helped build the Utah we know today. At the same time, Pioneer Day also about looking forward.

 

Let us recommit ourselves to the pioneer spirit of those who came before us by doing our part, building wisely, preserving what matters, and leaving Utah better than we found it. 

 

Together, we can ensure that Utahns yet to come — our grandchildren, our great-grandchildren, and generations beyond them — will look back on us with the same gratitude we feel toward the pioneers.
